Half fisherman’s rib ear warmer
Lovely ear
warmer pattern that is stretchy and comfortable to wear. It is like the full
fisherman’s rib, but it knits up quicker and it takes less yarn. Due to the
stretch, I would advise to measure your head and adjust length accordingly.
Cast on
using 7mm needles and chunky yarn. (If you are a loose knitter, then reduce your
needle size to a 6mm.)
10 stitches for baby 22-24grams
12 stitches for toddler 33 grams
14 stitches for child 41grams
16 stitches for adult 48grams
20 stitches extra wide for adult 58grams
Increase
stitches to make wider, keep number of stitches an even amount. I knitted the above
ear warmers using paintbox simply chunky yarn, you can use any chunky yarn you
like.
