 Seed stitch ear warmers

Cast on using 6mm needles and chunky yarn

              13 stitches for baby 24-29grams

              15 stitches for toddler 30grams and child 32grams

              17 for adult  43grams 

(Increase stitches to make wider, keep number of stitches

an odd amount)

Row 1 – slip 1, *k1, p1, repeat until end of row.

Repeat until reached desired length =

                                       14-16 inches for baby

                                       17 inches for toddler

                                       18 inches for child

                                       19 inches for adult

Cast off leaving a long tail. Sew ends together. Pinch seam together and secure with a few stitches.

 

                

       

 

Middle knot

Cast on 5 stitches = baby

              7 stitches – toddler and child

              9 stitches for adult

Row 1 – slip 1, *k1, p1, repeat until end of row.

When it reaches 4 inches cast off.

Wrap around sewn seam and sew using an over stitch.
