Angel wrap
We need these in 3 sizes.
small - 40stitches
medium- 50 stitches
large - 60 stitches
Using 4mm needles and white or cream dk yarn cast on 4 stitches
Base
Row 1: k1, yarn forward, k3
Row 2: k1, yarn forward, knit until end of the row
Continue with this pattern increasing on every row until you have 40 st (50st, 60st)
Now to start decreasing
Next row: k1, yarn forward, sl1, k2tog, psso, knit to end
Repeat this row until you have 4stitches left
Row 1: k1, yarn forward, k3
Row 2: k1, yarn forward, knit until end of the row
Continue with this pattern increasing on every row until you have 40 st (50st, 60st)
Next row: *k1, yarn forward, k2tog repeat from * until end of row.
Knit row and cast off.
Fold the pocket over onto the base and sew up the sides.
Thread ribbon through the holes on the front of the pocket.
Optional: crochet a scallop edge around the edge of the wrap (not along the front pocket)
