We share because we care
In memory of my dear friend Vitty
Looking forward to knitting this for the premature baby unit.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your pattern! My mother was also very fond of butterflies. Every time I see one, I think of her, and a trip we made to a Butterfly Pavilion in Canada. For whatever reason, the butterflies kept sitting on both her and me. (To the point that people kept telling us there was a butterfly on us, and the staff actually stopped and checked us to make sure there weren't any on us before we left!) This one is definitely going into my queue, and will probably be made in a turquoise yarn - Mom's favorite color. Thank you for reminding me of this wonderful memory!
ReplyDeleteMy sister recently passed away. She loved birds, flowers, and butterflies. My niece, Barbara, cared for her mother and is now caring for her father. I plan to make this for Barb.
