You will
need:
4mm needles
150grams for preemie, 275grams for baby and 400grams for cot Of Dk yarn
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
k- knit
p- purl
measures when completed- preemie: 22x22inches
Baby: 29x 29inches
Cot: 40x40inches
Cast on 111
stitches for preemie, 151 stitches for baby and 211 stitches for cot blanket.
Rows 1-21:
knit
Row 22: k10,
purl until last 10st, k10
Row 23 and
alternative rows: knit
Rows 24, 26,
28 & 30: k10, *p1, k4 repeat from * until last 11st, p1, k10
Row 32: k10,
p5, k1, *p4, k1 repeat from * until last 15st, p5, k10
Repeat rows
23-32 16 times for preemie blanket, 23 times for baby blanket and 33 times for
cot blanket
Repeat row

Knit 21 rows
and cast off, weaving in all ends using the yarn needle.
