Cannula mitts










Cast on 30 stitches using dk yarn and 4mm needles - make in matching pairs 

Rows 1-12; *k1, p1 repeat from * until end of the row.

Row 13: knit 

Row 14: purl 

Repeat these rows until you have 28 rows of stocking stitch

Shape the top:

Row 41: s1, k1, psso, k11, k2tog, s1, k1, psso, k11, k2tog.

Row 42: purl

Row 43: s1, k1, psso, k9,k2tog, s1, k1, psso, k9,k2tog

Row 44: purl 

Cast off and leaving a long tail sew along the top and down the side.

  1. Hi I am new to this and have been making blankets cardi's and hats, what are the bonding squares for as I've never heard of them. I am making for Lincoln Maternity Hospital.

  2. They come in pairs. One for the mum and the other for the baby, they get swapped over every 12 hours so the baby has the mothers scent nearby x
