Skill level: Beginner

You will need:

4mm needles

150grams/450yards for preemie, 300grams/906yards for baby and 400grams/1208yards for cot of Dk yarn 

Yarn needle

 

Abbreviations:

k- knit

p- purl

St- stitches

Measures when completed- Preemie 22x23 inches or 55x58cm 

                                             Baby 32x32 inches or 81x81cm 

                                             Cot 40x41 inches or 101x104cm

Cast on 113st for preemie, 167st for baby and 203st for cot blanket  

Rows 1-21: knit

Rows 22 & 24: k10, purl until the last 10st, k10

Row 23 and alternative rows: knit

Row 26: k10, p3, *k3, p3 repeat from * until the last 10st, k10

Rows 28 & 30: k10, purl until last 10st, k10

Row 32: k10, p6, k3, *p3, k3 repeat from * until last 16st, p6, k10

Repeat rows 21-32 11 more times for preemie, 17 more times for baby and 22 more times for cot. 

Repeat rows 22 & 24 once more

Knit 21 rows

Cast off and weave in the ends using the yarn needle.
