Flower stems and leaves
Abbreviations:
kfb- knit in front and back of
stitch.
K2tog-knit 2 stitches
together
Cast on 6 stitches using double
point 3mm needles (3 needles or 2 needles and a stitch marker pin) and green dk
yarn
Knit the row, slide the stitches
along to the other end of the needle pulling the yarn across the back and knit
again. Continue to knit the stem this way creating a tube.
Continue until you have knitted
30cm Leaves:
knit 3 stitches and turn, the 3
remaining stitches leave on spare needle or put on a stitch marker.
In the first stitch kfb, p1, kfb

Row 22: knit
cut a long tail and thread
through the last 3 stitches. Pull tight
and weave through leaf.
Join yarn onto the 3 remaining
stitches and follow the leaf pattern again creating the second leaf.
Insert green garden stick into
the stem and sew up the bottom.
