Baby blanket – 147 stitches

Cot blanket -203 stitches

using 4mm needles and dk yarn

Rows 1-11: knit

Row 12: k17, p1, *k7, p1 repeat from * until last 17 stitches, k17

Row 13 and alternative rows: knit

Row 14: k10, p1, *k5, p3, repeat from * until last 16 stitches, k5, p1, k10

Row 16: k10, p2, *k3, p5, repeat from * until last 15 stitches, k3, p2, k10

Row 18: k10, p3, *k1, p7, repeat from * until last 14 stitches, k1, p3, k10

Row 20: k13, *p1, k7, repeat from * until the last 14 stitches, p1, k13

Row 22: k12, *p3, k5, repeat from * until last 15 stitches, p3, k12

Row 24: k11, *p5, k3, repeat from * until last 16 stitches, p5, k11

Row 26: k10, *p7, k1, repeat from * until last 17 stitches, p7, k10

Repeat rows 11-26 until desired length has been reached.

Knit 11 rows and cast off. Weave in any ends.
